Lexie Simmons received her degree in Landscape Architecture from Texas A&M University in 2006, and is a firm believer in "green" and sustainable practices. Though she doesn't exercise her degree as much as it would allow, she has embraced additional facets of her designing nature and channeled them into other outlets: website design, graphic design & photography.
She began designing websites in 2002 and has been polishing her techniques since. She loves website design not only for the creativity aspect, but because it is a virtually paper-free design practice. What paper does get used in the process is recycled or reused. That in conjunction with conserted energy-saving efforts make her website design profession very eco-friendly.
Lexie's graphic designing skills stemmed from the presentations she would give for classes in college. You may have the capacity to do a fantastic job for your clients, but how are they going to notice you? Or maybe you're looking for the "just right" way to announce a wedding, party or the arrival of a new baby. Lexie strives for perfection when it comes to graphic design and has the ability to make exactly what you need when you need it for your occasion, announcement or business. She prefers to use recycled paper for prints, but in the end it is always up to the client.
Lexie has a keen interest in landscape photography, no doubt owing to her education. Her favorite subject is water due to its constantly dynamic nature. With formal training in digital and 35mm media, she has perfected her skills to capture just the right image.
